Astana Tigers won the Kazakh D1 championship. They swept Okzhetpes in the title series. Astana Tigers earned a 63:38 victory in Game 2 today to complete the sweep. Nadezhda Kondrakova (190-C-89) posted 25 points and 9 boards in the win. Astana recorded a 33:17 halftime lead. The Tigers held Okzhetpes to just 21 points in the second half and raced to the trophy. Astana Tigers and Okzhetpes quite expectedly reached D1 Finals. They swept their respective semifinal series tonight. Astana Tigers crushed Astana Tigers-2 76:19 to complete the sweep. Astana Tigers built a comfortable 40:8 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the win. Nadezhda Kondrakova (190-C-89) delivered 20 points to lead the winners.
