Later Irtysh gained the second consecutive win in the D1 championship series. Angelina Yuskova (170-G-90) scored 27 points to lead the defending champions to a narrow 84:83 win over Astana. Tamara Seregina delivered 21 points, while Anna Vinokurova (191-C-92) added 15 points for the winning side. Anastassiya Alishauskaite (172-G-88) answered with 19 points for the Tigers. Ganna Zaritska (187-C-86) and Victoria Shmatova responded with 16 points each in the loss.
