Kazakhstan D1 round 4 best performance: Valeria Petrova

Center Valeria Petrova (184-C-1996) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Turan Turkestan, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 28-year old player was the main contributor (8 points and two assists) to her team's victory, helping them to outclass Aktobe (#5, 1-5) with 26-point margin 58-32. Turan is placed at 2nd position in Kazakhstan D1. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Turan will need more victories to improve their 4-2 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Petrova as usually she does not deliver so high stats. Valeria Petrova averages this season 8.2ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was another Turan's star - young Symbat Kydyrali (186-F/C-2004). Kydyrali had a very good evening with 5 points.
