An interesting game for Turan (11-7) which hosted in Turkestan 4th placed Caspiy Aktau (9-10). Second ranked Turan managed to get a 5-point victory 64-59. Turan forced 22 Caspiy Aktau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Belarusian Palina Verabei (184-2004) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Liya Umerova (166-2002) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Turan's coach Vitaliy Lopatin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Georgian Tamar Papuashvili (180-2003) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for Caspiy Aktau. Astana Tigers have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-1 record. Okzhetpes at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost.
