An interesting game for Turan (11-7) which hosted in Turkestan 4th placed Caspiy Aktau (9-10). Second ranked Turan managed to get a 5-point victory 64-59. Turan forced 22 Caspiy Aktau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Belarusian Palina Verabei (184-2004) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds. The former international point guard Liya Umerova (166-2002) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Turan's coach Vitaliy Lopatin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Georgian Tamar Papuashvili (180-2003) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for Caspiy Aktau. Despite that victory Turan went down to third position due to points difference. Caspiy Aktau at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. Astana Tigers have an impressive series of fifteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 18-1 record. Okzhetpes at the other side dropped to the second position with six games lost.
