Best players of Kazakhstan D1 round 5

Talented International Shooting guard Dilnaz Yerkebay (179-SG-2003) had a very impressive game in the last round for Irtysh Pavlodar-PNHZ and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 21-year old shooting guard had the game-high 26 points adding seven assists for Irtysh in her team's victory, helping them to edge out Aktobe (#6, 1-7) 60-57. Irtysh maintains the 5th position in Kazakhstan D1. Irtysh is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Yerkebay had a remarkable 75 three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's her second year at Irtysh and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Yerkebay has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 13.2ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.5rpg) and averages solid 1.3bpg,2.2spg and 225.0% from behind 3-point line.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-F-1999) of Aktobe. Kudrevtseva impressed basketball fans with 13 points and 8 assists. Bad luck as Aktobe was edged by slightly higher-ranked Irtysh (#5, 2-4) 60-57. Aktobe are still at the very bottom. 7 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Aktobe managed to get this year. Kudrevtseva is well-known by Aktobe fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.0ppg (#8). Her other stats are also decent: 6.8rpg and 5.6apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Aktobe's star - Natalya Romachenko (165-PG-2007). Romachenko scored 10 points. Despite Romachenko's great performance the Aktobe lost 57-60 to slightly higher-ranked Irtysh (#5, 2-4). But her team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. Aktobe can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have extremely bad season and 1-7 record places them at the very bottom of the standings. Romachenko has a very solid season. In 8 games in Kazakhstan she scored 6.5ppg.
