Astana Tigers - Turan 69-52

Astana Tigers outrebounded Turan 39-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. 27 personal fouls committed by Turan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) who scored 15 points. The former international forward Zalina Kurazova (185-1985) chipped in 14 points. Center Valeria Petrova (184-1996) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and the former international guard Oksana Bagmet (170-1996) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
