Best players of Kazakhstan D1 round 4 (by Hoops Agents)

Experienced International Center Anna Bezgodova (192-C-1992) had a great game in the last round for Astana Tigers-KazATU and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 4.
The 33-year old center had a double-double of 13 points and 14 rebounds, while her team beat Irtysh (#6, 0-2), the league's bottom-ranked team 56-48. Tigers is placed at 3rd position in Kazakhstan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. But it's just the very beginning of the season and Tigers won both games without losing any. It's too early to say anything as the standings can be changed completely after next round. Bezgodova has many years of experience at Tigers, through which she has constantly improved. Bezgodova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (3rd best: 12.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.0rpg) and averages solid 2.0bpg and 57.9% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young power forward Symbat Kydyrali (186-F/C-2004) of league's best team Turan Turkestan. Kydyrali impressed basketball fans with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Of course she led Turan to another comfortable win 63-48 over the lower-ranked Okzhetpes (#4, 1-1) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Turan consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. Her team has currently 3-1 record. Kydyrali is one of the most experienced players at Turan and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was another Tigers' star - former international center Oksana Nurbaeva (188-C-1990). Nurbaeva scored 10 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (!!!). She was another key player of Astana Tigers-KazATU, helping her team with a 56-48 win against Irtysh (#6, 0-2). Tigers has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Nurbaeva also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Nurbaeva has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.5rpg (8th best).

10. Kamazhay Otegenova (180-F-2001) of Irtysh - 8 points and 13 rebounds
