Rulyova's 12 points and 9 assists give her Player of the Week award

39-year old Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-F/C-1986, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Astana Tigers-KazATU and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 35.
She had the game-high 12 points adding nine rebounds and nine assists for Tigers in her team's victory, helping them to beat Caspiy Aktau (#6, 5-19) 73-66. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan D1. Tigers has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 23-1. It's Rulyova's second year at Tigers and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Rulyova has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 17.0ppg. Rulyova is in league's top in rebounds (2nd best: 13.5rpg), assists (4th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 50.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yuliya Antonevich (178-G-2002) of league's second-best Okzhetpes Kokshetay. She is Russian guard in her first season at Okzhetpes. In the last game Antonevich recorded an impressive 17 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course she led Okzhetpes to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 3-21) 96-36. Okzhetpes' second position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 15-9 record is not bad at all. Antonevich is a newcomer at Okzhetpes and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.8ppg (#4). She also registered 4.7 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Okzhetpes' star - guard Adelya Mustafina (175-G-2006). Mustafina showcased her all-around game by recording 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Okzhetpes Kokshetay, helping her team with a 96-36 easy win against the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 3-21). Okzhetpes needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 15 victories and 9 lost games. Mustafina has a very solid season. In 23 games in Kazakhstan she scored 5.6ppg.
