Rulyova's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

39-year old Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-F/C-1986, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's best team Astana Tigers-KazATU and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
She had a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds, while her team crushed Okzhetpes (#5, 1-3) with 18-point margin 66-48. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Tigers already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. Petelina is one of the most experienced players at Caspiy Aktau and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.0ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 6.5rpg and 5.0apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Caspiy Aktau's star - guard Nona Tsomaia (165-PG-2003). Tsomaia scored 16 points and passed 8 assists. She was another key player of Caspiy Aktau, helping her team with a 73-55 easy win against Irtysh (1-3). Caspiy Aktau can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Tsomaia has individually a great season in Kazakhstan.
