Lytle's 21 points and 9 rebounds give her Player of the Week award

26-year old American guard Emily Lytle (180-G-1997) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's best team Aktobe and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 17.
She had the game-high 21 points adding nine rebounds and six assists for Aktobe in her team's victory, helping them to beat Tomiris (#4, 11-10) 76-64. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Aktobe to take over top position in the Kazakhstan D1. Aktobe have a solid 17-4 record. Lytle turned to be Aktobe's top player in her first season with the team. Virginia Tech University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lytle is in league's top in points (2nd best: 20.0ppg) and averages solid 2.5spg and 41.7% from behind 3-point line.

Second best performed player last round was Nadezhda Yakovleva (183-F/C-2003) of Okzhetpes Kokshetay. She is international forward in her 6th season at Okzhetpes. In the last game Yakovleva recorded an impressive double-double of 27 points and 11 rebounds. It was enough for Okzhetpes to edge slightly lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#6, 8-13) by 4 points 74-70. Okzhetpes' 5th position in the standings has not changed. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-12 record. Yakovleva is one of the most experienced players at Okzhetpes and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 15.4ppg (#8). She also registered 8.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Okzhetpes' star - swingman Kristina Goncharuk (175-G/F-2001). Goncharuk showcased her all-around game by recording 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Okzhetpes Kokshetay, helping her team with a 74-70 win against slightly lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#6, 8-13). The chances of Okzhetpes ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 12 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Goncharuk could help Okzhetpes to bring them higher in the standings. Goncharuk has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 21 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.0apg (best passer).
