Kazakhstan D1 round 3 best performance: Ganna Rulyova (by Hoops Agents)

Ukrainian Power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-F/C-1986, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Turan, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 37-year old player had a double-double of 30 points and 21 rebounds, while her team beat Irtysh (#8, 0-4), the league's bottom-ranked team 75-61. Thanks to this victory Turan moved-up to the 3rd position in Kazakhstan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Turan will need more victories to improve their 3-1 record. In the team's last game Rulyova had a remarkable 70.0% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 12 attempts. It's her second year at Turan and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Ganna Rulyova has solid league stats. She was a key player of Astana Tigers, leading her team to a 83-61 easy win against Caspiy Aktau (#7, 1-3). Astana Tigers needs these victories very badly if they think about taking over top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 3 victories and 1 lost game.
