Caspiy Aktau keeps Papuashvili for another season

Caspiy Aktau (D1) re-signed 21-year old Georgian international 180cm power forward Tamar Papuashvili for season 2024-25. She played there last season. In 24 Kazakhstan games she recorded 11.7ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.7apg, 1.3spg and 1.2bpg.
She has been also a member of the Georgian international program for some years. Papuashvili played for the Georgian senior team this year and for the U22 National Team last year.
She represented Georgia at the FIBA Women's European Championship for Small Countries in Pristina (Kosovo) this year. During this event she scored an average of 13 points per game and had 6.2 rebounds per game.
Papuashvili has played also in Spain (Cordoba).
Despite young age she had impressive career. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U16 Division C Honorable Mention back in 2019.
