International Forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Turan Turkestan, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 33.
The 26-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds, while her team beat Zhetysu (#7, 3-19) 89-75. Turan maintains the 4th position in Kazakhstan D1. Turan is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 13-11 record. In the team's last game Kudrevtseva had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Turan and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Ulyana Kudrevtseva has solid league stats. She was another key player of Turan Turkestan, helping her team with a 89-75 easy win against the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 3-19). Turan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 13 victories and 11 lost games. Nurmakhambetova has a very solid season. In 24 games in Kazakhstan she scored 7.2ppg.
