Experienced Ukrainian Ganna Rulyova (183-F/C-1986, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for league's leader Astana Tigers-KazATU and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
The 39-year old power forward had the game-high 32 points adding six rebounds and seven assists for Tigers in her team's victory, helping them to beat Barsy Atyrau (#5, 10-12) 70-63. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan D1. Tigers has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 19-1. In the team's last game Rulyova had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. It's her second year at Tigers and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Rulyova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 17.3ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 13.9rpg), assists (8th best: 3.9apg) and averages solid 50.8% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Russian power forward Anna Vavilina (187-PF-1996) of Barsy Atyrau. Vavilina impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Barsy Atyrau lost that game 63-70 to the higher-ranked Tigers (#1, 19-1). Barsy Atyrau is still second from the bottom in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 10-12 record. Vavilina is a newcomer at Barsy Atyrau and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Barsy Atyrau's star - Russian Maria Aristova (188-C-2006). Aristova scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was another key player of Barsy Atyrau, helping her team with a 61-54 win against the higher-ranked Tigers (#1, 19-1). Aristova has a very solid season. In 9 games in Kazakhstan she scored 12.4ppg.
