Best players of Kazakhstan D1 round 34 (by Hoops Agents)

International Power forward Nadezhda Yakovleva (183-F/C-2003) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Okzhetpes Kokshetay and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 34.
The 22-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and 16 rebounds, while her team outclassed Zhetysu (#7, 3-21) with 26-point margin 86-60. Okzhetpes maintains the 2nd position in Kazakhstan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Okzhetpes will need more victories to improve their 15-9 record. In the team's last game Yakovleva had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Okzhetpes, through which she has constantly improved. Yakovleva has impressive league stats. Rulyova is well-known by Tigers fans and she already established her position as one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 13.5rpg and 4.5apg.

The third best performed player last round was another Tigers' star - former international guard Anastassiya Alishauskayte (173-G-1988). Alishauskayte scored 20 points. She was another key player of Astana Tigers-KazATU, helping her team with a 88-40 easy win against the lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#6, 5-19). Many experts and fans count Tigers as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 23 victories and only one lost game. They are currently at the very top of the standings. Alishauskayte has a very solid season.
