Novocherkassk signs Alexandra Kuzmitskaya, ex Okzhetpes

Platov Novocherkassk signed 21-year-old Russian center Alexandra Kuzmitskaya. She started the season at Okzhetpes in Kazakhstan D1 league. In 11 games, she had 10.6ppg, 10.4rpg, 2.2apg, 1.0spg, and 1.1bpg. Last season, she played at UMMC Junior.
She represented Russia at the FIBA EuroBasket U18 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina five years ago. Kuzmitskaya's team reached the Semifinals and her stats for that event were 6 games: 1.0ppg, 1.0rpg.
She has played previously for two other Russian teams: Spartak Saint Petersburg and Nevskaya.
Her team reached the Superleague 1 Semifinals in 2021.
