An interesting game for Astana Tigers (4-1) which played road game in Kokshetay against 4th placed Okzhetpes (2-3). Third ranked Astana Tigers managed to get a 8-point victory 65-57. Astana Tigers forced 21 Okzhetpes turnovers. International forward Daria Koroleva (182-1988) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points. The former international forward Kamazhay Otegenova (180-2001) contributed with 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Katrina Trankale came up with 27 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for Barsy Atyrau in the defeat. Undefeated Aktobe have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Loser Barsy Atyrau keeps the sixth position with four games lost. They share it with Irtysh and Caspiy Aktau. Aktobe will meet at home Caspiy Aktau (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Barsy Atyrau will play against Turan in Turkestan and hope to win that game.
