Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game in Aktau supposed to be quite interesting. Second ranked Aktobe (7-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Caspiy Aktau (3-5). Aktobe smashed Caspiy Aktau 89-61 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Caspiy Aktau. They outrebounded Caspiy Aktau 64-31 including a 48-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Aktobe looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. The former international guard Oksana Bagmet (170-1996) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Emily Lytle (180-1997, college: Virginia Tech) contributed with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for the winners. point guard Alexandra Petelina (168-1998) replied with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for Caspiy Aktau. Aktobe keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Astana Tigers. Caspiy Aktau at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. Aktobe is looking forward to face Turan (#3) in Turkestan in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Caspiy Aktau will play on the road against Barsy Atyrau and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.

Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points, 24 rebounds and 4 assists and Aruzhan Askerova who added 9 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. International Dilnaz Yerkebay (179-2003) responded with 18 points and 4 assists. Tomiris maintains fourth position with 4-4 record. Irtysh at the other side keeps the sixth place with six games lost. They share the position with Okzhetpes. Tomiris will play against league's second-placed Astana Tigers at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Irtysh will play against Okzhetpes (#7) in Kokshetay and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 8 bottom-ranked Barsy Atyrau was smashed by Turan Turkestan on the road 66-44. Astana Tigers-KazATU won against Okzhetpes Kokshetay on its own court 53-49.
The most impressive performance of 8th round was 25 points, 24 rebounds and 4 assists by Yana Kotova of Tomiris.

Turan - Barsy Atyrau 66-44

No shocking result in a game when third ranked Turan (6-2) crushed bottom-ranked Barsy Atyrau (1-7) in Turkestan 66-44. Turan held Barsy Atyrau to an opponent 21.8 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Turan forced 25 Barsy Atyrau turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian Vladyslava Voloshyna (177-2000, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 6 assists and 7 steals and Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) who added 10 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Turan will play against league's leader Aktobe on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Barsy Atyrau will play against Caspiy Aktau (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.

Very expected game when 7th ranked Okzhetpes (2-6) lost on the road to second ranked Astana Tigers (7-1) 53-49. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Astana Tigers outrebounded Okzhetpes 51-37 including 37 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international guard Anastassiya Alishauskayte-Lopatina (173-1988) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina (182-1990) who added 12 points and 10 rebounds during the contest.
