Kudrevtseva's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

Ulyana Kudrevtseva

26-year old forward Ulyana Kudrevtseva (175-F-1999) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Turan Turkestan and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 8.
She had the game-high 8 points adding sixteen rebounds and six assists for Turan in her team's victory, helping them to crush Caspiy Aktau (#6, 1-5) with 17-point margin 63-46. Turan maintains the 2nd position in Kazakhstan D1. They are still close to the very top. Turan would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 5-1 record. It's Kudrevtseva's second year at Turan and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Kudrevtseva has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 10.8rpg) and averages solid 2.8spg.

Second best performed player last round was Vira Cherkaska (184-F-2002) of Caspiy Aktau. She is Ukrainian forward in her first season at Caspiy Aktau. In the last game Cherkaska recorded an impressive double-double of 13 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Caspiy Aktau lost that game 48-66 to the higher-ranked Turan (#2, 5-1). Caspiy Aktau managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Caspiy Aktau managed to get this year. Cherkaska is a newcomer at Caspiy Aktau and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.3ppg (#6). Her other stats are also decent: 13.3rpg and 3.2apg.

Third place about best performers goes to another Turan's star - swingman Daryna Bachkarova (183-G/F-2000). Bachkarova showcased her all-around game by recording 11 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the last round. She was another key player of Turan Turkestan, helping her team with a 66-48 easy win against the lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#6, 1-5). Turan is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 5-1 record is not that bad... Bachkarova has a very solid season. In 5 games in Kazakhstan she scored 9.4ppg.
