An interesting game forTigers (18-0) which hosted in Astana their biggest opponent Turan (10-10). Leader Tigers had an easy win 82-58 . Tigers outrebounded Turan 51-27 including a 34-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. 29 personal fouls committed by Turan helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Oksana Nurbaeva (188-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds. Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) contributed with 4 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Milana Alyoshkova (162-2002) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 assists and Uzbekistani Aydana Nurmakhambetova (180-2002) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Turan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers have an impressive series of eighteen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 18-0 record. Turan lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with ten games lost.
