The most important game in the last round took place in Aktau between third ranked Turan (4-4) and fourth ranked Caspiy Aktau (4-4) on Saturday night. Turan was crushed by Caspiy Aktau on the road 55-79. Caspiy Aktau forced 19 Turan turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. It was a good game for Belarusian Aliaksandra Chyzheuskaya (185-2002) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds. Ukrainian Vladyslava Voloshina (177-2000, agency: BIG) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Center Valeria Petrova (184-1996) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds for Turan. Caspiy Aktau moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated Turan. Caspiy Aktau is looking forward to face Irtysh (#5) in Pavlodar in the next round. Turan will play at home against the league's second-placed Okzhetpes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Astana Tigers' coach Vitaliy Strebkov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 14 points and 8 rebounds by Kamila Amanzholova did not help to save the game for Okzhetpes. Astana Tigers have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Okzhetpes at the other side keep the second place with two games lost. Astana Tigers will meet bottom-ranked Aktobe (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Okzhetpes will play against Turan (#4) in Turkestan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
