Best players of Kazakhstan D1 round 13

Experienced Former international Center Oksana Nurbaeva (188-C-1990) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's leader Astana Tigers-KazATU and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 35-year old center had a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds, while her team outclassed Caspiy Aktau (#6, 2-8) with 43-point margin 89-46. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Tigers still have not lost a single game, getting all 12 victories. In the team's last game Nurbaeva had a remarkable 57.9% from 2-point range. She has many years of experience at Tigers, through which she has constantly improved. Nurbaeva has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in rebounds (6th best: 8.8rpg) and averages solid 2.3spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Belarusian swingman Daryna Bachkarova (183-G/F-2000) of second-ranked Turan Turkestan. Bachkarova impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Turan was edged by the lower-ranked Barsy Atyrau (#5, 4-4) 71-67. Turan managed to keep the same second spot in the standings. Her team's 5-5 record is not bad at all. Bachkarova is a newcomer at Turan and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was another Tigers' star - former international guard Anastassiya Alishauskayte (173-G-1988). Alishauskayte scored 17 points and passed 11 assists (!!!). She was another key player of Astana Tigers-KazATU, helping her team with a 89-46 easy win against the lower-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#6, 2-8). Tigers have amazing season winning all 12 games without a single defeat. Alishauskayte turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Alishauskayte has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 12 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 3.8apg (6th best).
