Chyzheuskaya's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

22-year old Belarusian power forward Aliaksandra Chyzheuskaya (185-PF-2002) had a great game in the last round for second-ranked Caspiy Aktau and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had a double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed Irtysh (#5, 2-10) with 17-point margin 80-63. Caspiy Aktau is placed at 2nd position in Kazakhstan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caspiy Aktau will need more victories to improve their 8-6 record. In the team's last game Chyzheuskaya had a remarkable 73.3% from 2-point range. She turned to be Caspiy Aktau's top player in her first season with the team. Chyzheuskaya has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 14.2ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 3.4spg and 55.0% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Dilnaz Yerkebay (179-SG-2003) of Irtysh Pavlodar-PNHZ. She is international guard in her 2nd season at Irtysh. In the last game Yerkebay recorded an impressive double-double of 18 points and 15 rebounds. Bad luck as Irtysh was edged by the higher-ranked Caspiy Aktau (#2, 8-6) 61-58. Irtysh managed to keep the same 5th spot in the standings. 10 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Irtysh managed to get this year. Yerkebay is well-known at Irtysh and she already established her position as one of the team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.2ppg (#3). She also registered 6.4 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to Palina Verabei (184-SF-2004) of Turan Turkestan (#4). Verabei showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Turan, leading her team to a 75-41 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Aktobe (#6, 1-11). Turan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 7 victories and 5 lost games. Verabei has a very solid season. In 2 games in Kazakhstan she scored 15.5ppg.
