Irtysh has finally registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Aktau, where they outplayed Caspiy Aktau (1-3) 80-58 on Sunday. Irtysh forced 27 Caspiy Aktau turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and chipped in 27 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Alexandra Petelina with 21 points and 9 rebounds. Irtysh left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with Okzhetpes and Caspiy Aktau. Irtysh is looking forward to face higher ranked Barsy Atyrau (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Caspiy Aktau will have a break next round.

Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina supported her with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Even 17 points by did not help to save the game for Okzhetpes. Tigers have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. Okzhetpes lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. They share the position with Irtysh and Caspiy Aktau. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
