Rulyova's double-double lands her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

39-year old Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-F/C-1986, agency: BIG) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's best team Astana Tigers-KazATU and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
She had a double-double of 33 points and 15 rebounds, while her team outclassed Turan (#2, 5-4) with 43-point margin 91-48. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Tigers to consolidate first place in the Kazakhstan D1. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Tigers keeps a perfect 11-0 record. In the team's last game Rulyova had a remarkable five three-pointers out of 9 attempts. It's her second year at Tigers and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Rulyova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 17.6ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 15.1rpg), assists (6th best: 3.9apg) and averages solid 50.7% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Yuliya Antonevich (178-G-2002) of Okzhetpes Kokshetay. She is Russian guard in her first season at Okzhetpes. Antonevich is a newcomer at Okzhetpes and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 18.5ppg (#1). She also registered 5.5 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to another Okzhetpes' star - forward Nadezhda Yakovleva (183-F/C-2003). Yakovleva scored 29 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. She was another key player of Okzhetpes Kokshetay, helping her team with a 91-46 easy win against the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 1-7). Okzhetpes needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Yakovleva has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 8 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 15.6ppg (6th best) and rebounds with 9.4rpg (4th best).
