Kazakhstan D1 round 3 best performance: Yuliya Antonevich (by Hoops Agents)

Russian Guard Yuliya Antonevich (178-G-2002) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Okzhetpes Kokshetay, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 23-year old player had a double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds, while her team outclassed Turan (#1, 3-1) with 35-point margin 65-30. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Thanks to this victory Okzhetpes moved-up to the 4th position in Kazakhstan D1. Okzhetpes is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. In the team's last game Antonevich had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Okzhetpes' top player in her first season with the team. Yuliya Antonevich has solid league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 21.0ppg. Antonevich is in league's top in rebounds (9th best: 7.5rpg) and averages impressive 55.6% FGP.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Tigers' star - international center Anna Bezgodova (192-C-1992). Bezgodova scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. She was another key player of Astana Tigers-KazATU, helping her team with a 86-57 easy win against Irtysh (#6, 0-2). Tigers has a very good start of the season. But there were just 2 games played, so it's too early to judge them at this stage. Bezgodova also has a very good start of the season with very strong stats. Bezgodova has a great season in Kazakhstan. After only 2 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 12.5ppg (3rd best) and rebounds with 12.0rpg (2nd best).
