Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Astana Tigers as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Astana Tigers smashed 7th ranked Irtysh at home 89-51. Astana Tigers forced 23 Irtysh turnovers. The former international forward Tamara Kuzmina-Yagodkina (182-1990) fired 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. International forward Daria Koroleva (182-1988) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. International Dilnaz Yerkebay (179-2003) produced 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for lost side. Irtysh's coach Zhuldyz Baydusenova gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Astana Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Turan. Irtysh lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 14 games lost.

American guard Emily Lytle (180-1997, college: Virginia Tech) answered with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for Aktobe. Turan have a solid series of four victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Astana Tigers. Aktobe at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost.

Anna Bezgodova stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. At the losing side Aruzhan Askerova responded with 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Astana Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Turan. Loser Tomiris keep the fourth place with eight games lost.

Other games of round 13 were quite predictable and ended without any surprises. Here they are:
Caspiy Aktau defeated Barsy Atyrau in a road game 90-80. Irtysh was smashed by Okzhetpes at home 43-80. Turan destroyed Caspiy Aktau on the opponent's court 86-51. Aktobe managed to outperform Barsy Atyrau in a home game 83-69. Tomiris rolled over Okzhetpes on the road 85-64.
The best stats of 13th round was 31 points, 6 assists and 4 steals by Elizaveta Mitina of Tomiris.

Turan - Aktobe 63-62

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Almaty. Second ranked Astana Tigers faced 4th placed Tomiris. Guests from Astana (14-3) smashed host Tomiris (9-8) 83-31. Astana Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Tomiris' 30. They outrebounded Tomiris 43-21 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Astana Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Tomiris' players. The former international center Anna Bezgodova (192-1992) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners and forward Dariya Tsukanova (178-2007) chipped in 18 points. Caspiy Aktau dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Barsy Atyrau's 30. Caspiy Aktau looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Alexandra Petelina (168-1998) stepped up and scored 40 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and international center Anastasiya Ilyasova (185-1998) chipped in 16 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. At the losing side Latvian guard Katrina Trankale (173-2002) responded with 27 points and 4 assists and American forward Ashiala Jackson (186-1998, college: Tuskegee) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Barsy Atyrau's coach Oleg Accipetrov rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Russian swingman Daria Surkova (176-2001) stepped up and scored 30 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and the former international power forward Nadezhda Yakovleva (183-2003) chipped in 16 points. At the losing side power forward Tamila Zhakipova (182-2000) responded with 8 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Valeriya Kapitonova (176-2001) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
