Very significant was Tigers' (#1, 21-1) victory against second-best Irtysh (14-10) 78-70. They outrebounded Irtysh 50-26 including a 37-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international guard Anastassiya Alishauskayte (173-1988) stepped up and scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners and Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) chipped in 13 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was Latvian guard Katrina Trankale (173-2002) with 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Defending champion maintains first place with 21-1 record. Irtysh at the other side keeps the second position with ten games lost. Tigers are looking forward to face Caspiy Aktau (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Irtysh will have a break next round.

Aiya Nurgozhanova (175-2006) came up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks for Zhetysu in the defeat. Turan maintains fourth place with 13-11 record. Zhetysu lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 19 lost games. Turan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zhetysu will play at home against Okzhetpes (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
In the last game of round 33 Barsy Atyrau lost to Okzhetpes on the opponent's court 49-54.
