The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Astana Tigers (3-1) on the court of Caspiy Aktau on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Caspiy Aktau 77-69. Strangely Astana Tigers outrebounded Caspiy Aktau 45-31 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Caspiy Aktau looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for Belarusian Aliaksandra Chyzheuskaya (185-2002) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. point guard Alexandra Petelina (168-1998) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Ukrainian power forward Ganna Rulyova (183-1986, agency: BIG) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 18 rebounds and 7 assists for Astana Tigers. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

No shocking result in a game when Okzhetpes (4-0) crushed Irtysh (0-4) in Pavlodar 55-30 on Wednesday. Okzhetpes held Irtysh to an opponent 19.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Okzhetpes forced 21 Irtysh turnovers and outrebounded them 53-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Zoya Buday (167-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. Russian swingman Daria Surkova (176-2001) accounted for 14 points and 10 assists for the winning side. Four Okzhetpes players scored in double figures.
