It's still too early stage of the Regular Season in D1, but even now we can clearly see the difference between stronger teams and outsiders. Here is the last round review presented by LBM Management.

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Turan as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Turan defeated 3rd ranked Okzhetpes in Turkestan 63-48. Turan forced 24 Okzhetpes turnovers. Belarusian swingman Daryna Bachkarova (183-2000, college: CMU) fired a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Turan's coach Vitaliy Lopatin used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. produced 17 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Okzhetpes at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost. Okzhetpes will play next round against strong Tigers trying to get back on the winning streak. Turan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
Bottom-ranked Irtysh (0-2) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 56-48 loss to top-ranked Tigers (2-0) in Pavlodar. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. Worth to mention a great performance of who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Oksana Nurbaeva contributed with 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Belarusian swingman Daryna Bachkarova (183-2000, college: CMU) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds for Irtysh. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Barsy Atyrau. Irtysh at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Caspiy Aktau and Zhetysu. Tigers will play against Okzhetpes (#4) in Kokshetay in the next round. Irtysh will play on the road against Caspiy Aktau and hopes to get finally their first victory.
