Kazakhstan D1 round 6 best performance: Mone Izumi (by Hoops Agents)

Japanese Point guard Mone Izumi (162-PG-1998) had an amazing evening in the last round for Caspiy Aktau, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 25-year old player got a double-double of 32 points and 11 assists, while her team beat Aktobe (#2, 5-1) 89-82. Caspiy Aktau maintains the 6th position in Kazakhstan D1. Caspiy Aktau is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 2-4 record. In the team's last game Izumi had a remarkable 55.0% from 2-point range. She turned to be Caspiy Aktau's top player in her first season with the team. Mone Izumi averages just after two games 22.5ppg, 9.0rpg and 7.5apg.

The chances of Caspiy Aktau not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 4 games, recording just two victories.
