Rulyova re-signs at Astana Tigers

Ganna Rulyova

Astana Tigers-KazATU (D1) confirmed in their roster experienced 39-year old Ukrainian ex-international power forward Ganna Rulyova (183cm-87kg-1986, agency: BIG) for season 2025-26. She played there last season. In 23 Kazakhstan games she recorded 12.3ppg, 10.8rpg and 4.9apg. She helped them to win the League title (four times) (six times). Quite impressive season as she was voted Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Player of the Year, Import Player of the Year and Asia-Basket.com All-Kazakhstan League Defensive Player of the Year. For two previous seasons (2022-24) she played at another Kazakhstan team Turan Turkestan.
Rulyova was also a member of the Ukrainian international program for some years. She played for Ukrainian Senior National Team between 2008 and 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2006.
Rulyova is a very experienced player. She has played in Cyprus, Israel (Elitzur Ramla), Poland (TS Ostrovia Ostrow Wielkopolski and MKK Siedlce), Ukraine (Kozachka, Tim-Scuf, Olimp-NAEK Yuzhnoukrainsk, Frankivsk and Regina-Basket Bar) and Armenia (Hatis). It's very likely she will finish her playing career at Astana Tigers.
