International Forward Kamazhay Otegenova (180-F-2001) put on an amazing game in the last round for Irtysh Pavlodar-PNHZ and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 24-year old forward had a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while her team outclassed Zhetysu (#7, 3-15) with 27-point margin 87-60. Irtysh maintains the 3rd position in Kazakhstan D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Irtysh will need more victories to improve their 11-7 record. In the team's last game Otegenova had a remarkable 76.9% from 2-point range. She turned to be Irtysh's top player in her first season with the team. Otegenova has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (6th best: 15.4ppg), rebounds (3rd best: 13.6rpg) and averages solid 2.1spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Irtysh's star - young power forward Tamila Zhakipova (182-F/C-2000). Zhakipova impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Of course together with Otegenova she helped Irtysh Pavlodar-PNHZ with another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 3-15) 92-62. Irtysh's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 11-7 record is not bad at all. Zhakipova is a newcomer at Irtysh and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 12.5ppg (#9). She also registered 7.5 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was another Irtysh's star - international guard Liya Umerova (166-PG-2002). Umerova showcased her all-around game by recording 17 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (!!!) in the last round. She was another key player of Irtysh Pavlodar-PNHZ, helping her team with a 92-62 easy win against the lower-ranked Zhetysu (#7, 3-15). Irtysh needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 7 lost games. Umerova has a great season in Kazakhstan. After 18 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.2apg (2nd best).
