After the signing of the first import Aaron Harper, Sagesse management completed their roster by the addition of american power forward DeShawn Sims (203-F-88, college: Michigan). Simas will arrive to Lebanon from Korea, after having a great season where he averaged in 48 games: Score-4 (23.9ppg), 9.6rpg, 1.9apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 55.2%, 3PT: 28.8%, FT: 70.2%.
Sims out of Michigan had a great NCAA career where he averaged in his senior year : 16.8ppg, 7.6rpg, 1.1spg, FGP: 49.2%, 3PT: 28.4%, FT: 67.0%. The 24 years old played in Greece, Puerto Rico, NBDL and Korea before coming for his first experience in the middle east.

Nauticos of Mazatlan (CIBACOPA) signed experienced 35-year old American forward Omar Thomas (196-101kg-82, college: UTEP). He just played at Hoops in Lebanese Pepsi LBL. In 13 games he had very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 8.5rpg, 2.5apg and 1.8spg this season. Thomas also played that season for Vanoli Cremona in Italian Serie A where in 6 Pepsi LBL games he recorded 6.2ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.2apg and 1.2spg. The Lebanese under 16 basketball national team grabbed another large win at the 2017 U16 WABA Championship, by defeating Jordan this time 78-47. Our young players have been showing off terrific potential so far by smashing the opposition in both played games. These wins have paved the way towards an Asian qualification, as 2 teams out of 5 will go through.
