Bey's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

27-year old American forward Tyler Bey (201-F-1998) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for second-ranked Homentmen Beirut and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
He had a double-double of 38 points and 12 rebounds, while his team beat Antonine (#7, 1-3) 113-107. Homentmen maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese league. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Homentmen already had a very good start winning all 4 without losing a single one. In the team's last game Bey had a remarkable 63.2% from 2-point range. He turned to be Homentmen's top player in his first season with the team. University of Colorado graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bey is league's best scorer averaging so far 26.3ppg. Bey is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 11.0rpg) and averages solid 62.9% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jordan Stevens (182-PG-1994). He is American guard in his first season at Homentmen. In the last game Stevens recorded an impressive 32 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. It was enough for Homentmen Beirut to edge Beirut Club (1-3) by 5 points 104-99. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Stevens is a newcomer at Homentmen and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.8ppg (#7). His other stats are also decent: 7.0rpg and 9.5apg.

Third place about best performers goes to Ricky Ledo (201-SF-1992) of CS Antonine (#7). Ledo got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for eleven rebounds and eight assists. Despite Ledo's great performance the Antonine lost 107-113 to Homentmen (#2, 4-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Antonine can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-3 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Ledo has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 25.0ppg (2nd best), rebounds with 9.7rpg (9th best) and assists with 6.0apg (9th best).
