Karsiyaka inks Cameron Young, ex Al Markaziyyah

Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir (BSL) signed 29-year old American guard Cameron Young (195cm-93kg-1996, college: Quinnipiac). Young played this summer at Al Markaziyyah in Lebanese DLBL. In 19 games just recently he had very impressive stats: 26.4ppg, 3.7rpg and 3.1apg. 2025-25 was a great season as he was named to Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention. The last season he played at Hapoel Haifa in Israeli Winner League where in 6 games he recorded 13.5ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.7apg and 1.2spg.
He is quite experienced player. Young has played also professionally in Italy (Cantu), Russia (Runa Basket), Ukraine (Cherkasy), NBA G League (South Bay Lakers, Cleveland Charge, Memphis Hustle and G League Ignite), NBA Summer League (Cleveland Cavaliers) and The Basketball Tournament (Herd That and In the Lab).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his college team made it to the Ukrainian Cup final in 2021. He was also voted All-MAAC Player of the Year back in 2019.
He graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2019 and it will be his seventh season as a professional player. Young played also for Arizona Western College for 2 years.
