Martin Krampelj

Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut (LBL) signed 30-year-old Slovenian ex-international power forward Martin Krampelj (206cm-107kg-1995, college: Creighton). He played in 2024 2025 season at Yalovaspor in the Turkish TBL league. In 29 BSL games, he had 12.4ppg, 4.9rpg, and 1.4spg.
He was also a member of the Slovenian international program for some years. Krampelj played for Slovenian Senior National Team back in 2017 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2015.
He represented Slovenia at the European Championship (FIBA EuroBasket) U18 in Lithuania thirteen years ago. During this event he scored an average of 2.8 points per game and had rebounds per game.
Krampelj is a very experienced player. He has played in ten different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, and North America). Krampelj has played professionally in Canada (Honey Badgers), Italy (Scafati), Japan (Big Bulls), Kazakhstan (Astana), Poland (GTK and MKS), Slovenia, Spain, Uruguay (Aguada), and the NBA G League (Sioux Falls).
In 2023, his team won the Alpe Adria Cup. In 2024, he was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention.
Krampelj graduated from Creighton University in 2019 and it'll be his seventh season as a pro player.
