Regular Season Round 11: Homentmen - Batroun 96-90

There was no surprise in Beirut where 10th rankedBatroun (2-9) was defeated by fourth ranked Homentmen (7-4) 96-90 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Homentmen made 23-of-26 free shots (88.5 percent) during the game. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Khalid Thomas (208-1999, college: Portland St.) helped adding 16 points and 11 rebounds. Four Homentmen players scored in double figures. Guard Desi Washington (188-1992, college: St.Peter's) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists and forward Anthony Fairley (205-1999, college: Miles, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Homentmen maintains fourth place with 7-4 record, which they share with Antonine. Batroun lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. They share it with NSA.
