Al Riyadi - Homentmen 104-101

Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Australian-South Sudanese center Thon Maker (216-1997) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 11 rebounds (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners and international guard Ali Mansour (185-1998) chipped in 16 points, 10 rebounds and 16 assists. At the losing side American point guard Jordan Stevens (182-1994, college: Midwestern St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists and the other American import forward Tyler Bey (201-1998, college: Colorado) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 17 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.

Beirut Club - Sagesse 87-81

Beirut Club players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Sagesse was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international point guard Ali Mezher (182-1994) nailed a double-double by scoring 16 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side and the former international guard Sergio El Darwich (194-1996, college: Maine) accounted for 26 points and 4 assists (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Four Beirut Club players scored in double figures. The former international guard Omar Jamaleddine (193-2000, college: SLC) came up with 27 points and 6 rebounds and Guinean-French Sekou Doumbouya (206-2000) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Sagesse in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
