Best players of Lebanese DLBL round 14

Experienced American Paris Bass (207-F/C-1995) had a great game in the last round for league's second-best Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 30-year old power forward had a double-double of 30 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Antranik (#8, 7-7) with 19-point margin 114-95. Sagesse maintains the 2nd position in Lebanese DLBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Sagesse will need more victories to improve their 11-3 record. In the team's last game Bass had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got five three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He turned to be Sagesse's top player in his first season with the team. University of Detroit Mercy graduate has very impressive stats this year. Bass is league's best scorer averaging so far 29.0ppg. Bass is in league's top in rebounds (5th best: 10.2rpg) and averages solid 1.1bpg,2.1spg and 66.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American guard Desi Washington (188-G-1992) of CJS Batroun. Washington impressed basketball fans with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Of course Batroun cruised to a 83-75 relatively comfortable win over the higher-ranked Hoops (#5, 8-6). This victory allowed Batroun to move up to 10th position in the standings. 11 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Batroun managed to get this year. Washington is a newcomer at Batroun and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 24.2ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 6.1rpg and 10.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Makye Richards (188-G) of Nadim Souaid Academy (#11). Richards showcased his all-around game by recording 28 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists in the last round. Despite Richards' great performance the NSA lost 90-107 to the league's current leader Al Riyadi (#1, 14-0). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. NSA can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 3-11 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Richards has individually a great season in Lebanon. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 6.4apg (8th best).

9. Youssef Khayat (206-F-2003) of Sagesse - 24 points and 8 rebounds
10. Abdul Bah (186-G-1999) of Maristes - 23 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists
