Best players of Lebanese DLBL round 5

American Tray Jackson (208-F-2000) had a very impressive game in the last round for Beirut Club and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 25-year old forward had the game-high 32 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Beirut Club as his team lost the game against the league's best team Sagesse (#2, 5-0) 79-89. Beirut Club moved-up to the 10th position in Lebanese DLBL. The season is still in it's early stage, so the team may have a chance to improve their current position in the standings. They lost 4 games and had just one victory. In the team's last game Jackson had a remarkable 72.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Beirut Club's top player in his first season with the team.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Maurice Kemp (203-PF-1991) of league's best team Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut. Kemp impressed basketball fans with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. It was enough for Al Riyadi to edge the lower-ranked Maristes (#5, 3-2) by 6 points 84-78. This victory allowed Al Riyadi to move up to 1st position in the standings. A very good start of the season for his team, which won so far all 5 games without any defeat. Kemp is a newcomer at Al Riyadi and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Bosnia and Herzegovina Aleksandar Lazic (203-F-1996) of CS Maristes (#5). Lazic scored 22 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Despite Lazic's great performance the Maristes lost 78-84 to the league's current leader Al Riyadi (#1, 5-0). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Maristes needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 3 victories and 2 lost games. Lazic has a great season in Lebanon. After only 2 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 26.0ppg (2nd best).
