Nelson's double-double lands him Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

25-year old American guard Ja'Cor Nelson (195-G-1999) had a very impressive game in the last round for Mayrouba and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
He had a double-double of 39 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Maristes (#7, 9-13) 106-91. Mayrouba maintains the 11th position in Lebanese league. Mayrouba is currently ranked second from the bottom. They need more victories to improve their 7-15 record. In the team's last game Nelson had a remarkable 65.2% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Mayrouba, being already a very valuable addition to the team. University of Central Missouri graduate has very impressive stats this year. Nelson is in league's top in assists (7th best: 4.4apg) and averages solid 2.4spg and 57.8% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jarvis Williams (203-C/F-1993) of Hoops Club. He is American in his first season at Hoops. In the last game Williams recorded an impressive double-double of 28 points and 13 rebounds. Bad luck as Hoops lost that game 80-88 to the lower-ranked Antranik (#9, 9-14). Hoops managed to keep the same 6th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 9-13 record. Williams is one of the most experienced players at Hoops and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Kevork Kevork of Homentmen Beirut (#5). Kevork got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for six assists. He was a key player of Homentmen, leading his team to a 121-85 easy win against the lower-ranked Tadamon (#10, 8-15). Homentmen needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 11 victories and 11 lost games. Kevork has a very solid season. In 14 games in Lebanon he scored 6.9ppg. He also has a FGP of 76.2% and 3PT: 46.5%.
