Experienced American Perrin Buford (198-F-1994, agency: Pensack Sports) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Sporting Al Riyadi Beirut and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 31-year old forward had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Sagesse (#2, 9-2) 122-114. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Al Riyadi to consolidate first place in the Lebanese DLBL. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is already in a full swing and Al Riyadi still have not lost a single game, getting all 11 victories. In the team's last game Buford had a remarkable 64.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Riyadi's top player in his first season with the team. Perrin Buford averages this season 17.3ppg, 7.6rpg and 5.9apg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American power forward Paris Bass (207-F/C-1995) of second-ranked Sagesse - Al Hekmeh Beirut. Bass impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 37 points and 12 rebounds. Bad luck as Sagesse lost that game 114-122 to league's leader Al Riyadi (#1, 11-0). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Sagesse still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. It was just his team's 2nd loss this season, while they won 9 other games. Bass is a newcomer at Sagesse and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.3ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 10.6rpg and 5.0apg.

The third best performed player last round was American Tray Jackson (208-F-2000) of Beirut Club (#9). Jackson got into 30-points club by scoring 41 points in the last round. He went also for twelve rebounds . He was a key player of Beirut Club, leading his team to a 106-77 easy win against Tadamon (#12, 0-11). The chances of Beirut Club not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Jackson could try to bring Beirut Club's a little bit higher in the standings. Jackson has individually a great season in Lebanon. After only 6 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 30.0ppg (2nd best).
