Al Markaziyyah (#4) was upset in Jounieh by eighth ranked Beirut Club 83-73. Beirut Club forced 25 Al Markaziyyah turnovers. American guard AJ English (192-1992, college: Iona) fired 40 points (!!!) for the winners. His fellow American import Daniel Hamilton (201-1995, college: UConn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Dominican forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Donte McGill (190-1995, college: FIU) added 19 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Beirut Club. They maintain eighth place with 7-7 record. Al Markaziyyah lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the fifth position with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
