Al Markaziyyah keeps Wooten Jr. for another season

Club Centrale Al Markaziyyah Jounieh (DLBL) has re-signed 27-year-old American 204cm forward Kenny Wooten Jr., who played for Oregon in college. He joins fellow American player Donte McGill on the roster. Wooten Jr. played for the team last season and in 17 DLBL games, he averaged 10.9ppg, 11.8rpg, 1.5apg, and 3.2bpg. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Lebanese League Honorable Mention for his performance. In the previous season, he played for Ulaanbaatar TLG (MBL) in the Mongolian league.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Wooten's pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in five different countries. He has played professionally in Hungary (Atomeromu), Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), NBA (NY Knicks), NBA G League (Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Maine Celtics, Westchester Knicks, and Raptors 905 Mississauga), and NBA Summer League (Minnesota Timberwolves).
Wooten has won many awards during his career, including the Pac-12 Tournament in 2019 with his college team. In 2020, he was selected to the USBasket.com NBA G League All-Defensive Team.
He graduated from the University of Oregon in 2019, and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
