Sagesse - Beirut Club 87-88

Strangely Sagesse outrebounded Beirut Club 46-31 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Joseph Young (188-1992, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import forward Thomas Wimbush (201-1993, college: Fairmont St., agency: Slash Sports) who added 18 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) during the contest. At the losing side Guinean-French Sekou Doumbouya (206-2000) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international guard Omar Jamaleddine (193-2000, college: SLC) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
