Richard Solomon (ex Beijing D.) is a newcomer at Beirut Club

Richard Solomon

Beirut Club (LBL) bolstered their roster with the addition of 33-year-old USA ex-international 208cm center Richard Solomon (college: California, agency: Pensack Sports). He most recently played for Shougang Beijing Ducks in the Chinese CBA league. In 57 games, he averaged 8.6ppg, 8.1rpg, and 1.4apg last season, helping them reach the Chinese League final.
Solomon was a member of the USA international program for some years. He was called to the USA Senior National Team back in 2018 and previously to the Under 19 National Team in 2011.
Solomon is a very experienced player. Thanks to Solomon's pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in nine different countries. He has played previously professionally in France (JDA Dijon and Gravelines Dunkerque), Japan (Alvark Tokyo and Grouses), Russia (Zenit and Parma-Pari), Turkey (Usak, Bahcesehir, and Bodrum), NBA (Atlanta Hawks and OKC Thunder), NBA G League (OKC Blue), NBA Summer League (Toronto Raptors), and The Basketball Tournament (LA Cheaters and Solomonartfire).
He won The Basketball Tournament championship title in 2023. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-VTB League Honorable Mention in 2024.
Solomon graduated from the University of California in 2014 and it will be his 12th season in pro basketball.
