Regular Season Round 3: Al Riyadi - NSA 99-80

Very expected game whenNSA (2-2) was smashed by Al Riyadi (3-0) in Beirut 99-80 on Sunday. Al Riyadi made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 NSA turnovers and outrebounded them 43-32 including 16 on the offensive glass. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by NSA 's players. It was an exceptional evening for American Maurice Kemp (203-1991, college: ECU) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field). International guard Ali Mansour (185-1998) accounted for 8 points and 13 assists for the winning side. American guard Makye Richards (188, college: Xavier, LA) came up with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import power forward Torren Jones (206-1994, college: William Penn) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for NSA in the defeat. Five NSA players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
