Cleanthony Early

Al Faisaly (Premier League) inked experienced 34-year old American 199cm forward Cleanthony Early (college: Wichita State). He is the second foreign player in the roster as Palestinian Yousef Albabeish signed here earlier.
He was the top scorer at Paisas in Colombian LBP league. In 5 games he just recently played he averaged 9.6ppg, 4.0rpg, 1.4apg and 1.0spg last season. The last seasonhe played for different teams. He ended the season at Al Arabi Club Doha (QBL) in Qatari league. He also played for Brothers (MBL) in Mongolian league. The other team he played shortly was Al-Hashd Social Sports Club (Superleague) in Iraqi league.
In 2014 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (34th overall). The former Wichita State star is in his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
Early is a very experienced player. He has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seventeen different countries on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America). Early has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ittihad), Dominican Republic (Parque Hostos), France (Olympique Antibes), Greece, Hungary, Iraq, Japan, Lebanon (Sagesse, Al Markaziyyah and Dynamo), Qatar, Saudi Arabia (Al Ahli, Al Nasr and Ohod), South Africa (Tigers), Taiwan (New Taipei CTBC DEA and TB Herobears), Venezuela (Gladiadores), Kuwait (Kazma), Libya (Al Ittihad Tri and Al Nasr) and Mongolia (BCH Garid).
Among many awards Early's team won Libyan League Group 4 Regular Season in 2024. He was voted to Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D2 All-Imports Team back in 2019. He played also for Sullivan County Community College for 2 years.
