Al Markaziyyah used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Beirut 85-81 on Sunday night. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Al Markaziyyah looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American-Dominican forward Anyeuri Castillo (201-1997, college: USC Aiken) fired a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. American guard Donte McGill (190-1995, college: FIU) chipped in 24 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. McGill is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Al Markaziyyah players scored in double figures. American Jeremiah Gambrell Jr. (190-2000, college: Alcorn St., agency: 0z Sports Agency) produced 24 points and 8 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and South Sudanese center Majur Majak (216, college: New Haven) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Antranik's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
