Not a big story in a game in Beirut where 11th rankedBatroun (2-11) was defeated by leader Al Riyadi (13-0) 81-72 on Saturday. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) fired a double-double by scoring 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Maurice Kemp (203-1991, college: ECU) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Anthony Fairley (205-1999, college: Miles, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 29 points and 12 rebounds and forward Ruot Monyyong (210-1998, college: UALR, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) added 17 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the thirteenth consecutive win for Al Riyadi . Defending champion maintains first place with 13-0 record. Batroun lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 11 games lost.
